Inauguration Of “Bhavan's S Ramakrishnan Centre Of Excellence"

Bhavan's S.Ramakrishnan Centre of Excellence (BSRCE) at Shri.K.S.Unni Navathi Auditorium, Swami Vivekananda Sarva Dharma Maitri Pratishthan.The facility was officially inaugurated on 8th July 2026 (Wednesday) by Shri Suresh Gopi, the Honorable Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Tourism, Government of India. The event marks a significant milestone in Bhavan's commitment towards Learner-centered, Competency based, Technology-enabled, and Value-oriented approaches to education through continuous professional development.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished dignitaries, which includes Principals & Bhavan's Management of Thrissur and other Kendra from Kerala & Coimbatore, Academic Experts & Management Personnel from like-minded schools in Thrissur District, Government officials, and Members of the press. The establishment of this CoE aims to bridge the gaps in implementation of Vision set in National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, serving as a hub for collaborative ecosystem development.

• The event commenced with a welcome address by Shri K.P.Radhakrishnan, Hon Secretary, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Thrissur Kendra, who emphasized the core vision behind establishing the Centre of Excellence and welcomed the Central Minister and other dignitaries.
• The Honorable Minister formally inaugurated the facility by Lighting the ceremonial lamp followed by unveiling the official commemoration Video symbolizing the dawn of the Centre of Excellence
• Chairman Shri T.S.Pattabhiraman delivered the Presidential Address
• Shri Pauly Menachery, Dr.Arunima Mazumdar & Shri E.Ramankutty delivered the Commendation Address

The function concluded with an official vote of thanks delivered by Dr.P.Indira Devi.

The event was followed by the A One day workshop for Principals & Heads of Schools on “Training Need Analysis (TNA)” using Classroom Observation Data & Developing School Training Calendar by Dr.Arunima Mazumdar, Director Training, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in our new state of art Training facility on 3rd floor of Bhavan's Thrissur Kendra.
